curated ”Fire and Water” with Christina Massey and Etty Yaniv
Guild Gallery II, New York, NY
We think of fire and water as the substances essential to life and its eternal cycles, even as they are mutually destructive. But there is no longer any question that it is up to us to manage them for our own future, and that we are failing. Both Christina Massey’s and Etty Yaniv’s artwork play with this notion of duality, telling a similar tale. Each creates works that respond to their over personal experience of climate change and destruction.
