These wall-mounted works layer different color combinations of reflective sheeting and light. My use of these materials results in what are essentially different artworks depending on whether or not the lights are turned on. In brightly-lit surroundings that wash out electric light they are geometric designs made with primary and secondary colors. In darker environments they come alive to shimmer and glow, as their use of the contemporary technology of LEDs and prismatic reflective materials evokes the other-worldly sensations of ancient Byzantine mosaics.
